Broken Open
As many of you know, I just returned from Sedona for a D E E P retreat with spiritual teacher, Caroline Myss! She has been guiding and shaping my life since I was 22 years old! And I knew the work would go to those tender, vulnerable places so I brought a special 7-bowl set to play and help integrate while I was out there.
The work was indeed deep, and healing, and all the other things in between!! I was so grateful to be able to play the crystal alchemy bowls in between sessions. One of the things Caroline said that really hit home was that our angels break our hearts over and over…not to break us down…but because they love us so much that they keep trying to break us OPEN.
I teared up instantly as she said it…it landed in my bones (and in my heart, for sure)! Ahhhh TRUTH! My angels have always been with me…trying to break through my human exterior. My defenses. (We all have them :-))
Anyway…I thought of this today because when I returned home to set up for the Lunar New Year Sound Bath and began to unpack my special set of traveling bowls (ROLL THE SAD MUSIC) I discovered that one of the bowls had broken. My mind became curious as I came to terms with the news…
Why did only ONE bowl break? They were all nestled in together…all 7 bowls…yet only 1 broke…in the middle of the pack…
What was the message?
The alchemy of this bowl is Sage Aura Gold…the exact “medicine” of this alchemy translates to: “Healing through the Heart.” THAT is the medicine of this bowl. It didn’t shatter either…it broke off in 2 big pieces, almost wing-like.
It quite literally BROKE OPEN.
It felt a bit epic…like perhaps a sign from my angels that I am being broken open in so many ways. And if there has ever been a time in our collective for the need to be heart opened, I’d say now is a good time 🙂
So…as we head into February…the Month of Love…I ask you two things…
First – why the heck do we only celebrate love for one month a year!?!? Silly humans that we are!
AND What is breaking open in your heart!?! Where are you expanding??? Healing???? Willing to be of service? To LOVE deeper and with out keeping score?
I am excited to reveal the new bowl and her new “medicine,” coming in for all of our healing…My Sage Aura Gold baby has done her job…and is ushering in a New Profound Medicine.
